Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking experienced life insurance sales professionals to work remotely as independent contractors. You will manage your own pipeline of clients who have requested information and guide them through discovery conversations, quoting, and underwriting until issuance.

You’ll rely on carrier tools, CRM, and exclusive lead systems to close cases, while staying current with state licensing requirements and carrier guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in independent, pipeline-driven sales.
• Ability to work without daily supervision.
• Strong follow-up habits to move cases.
• State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale.
• Experience with CRM and online quoting tools.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information.
• Run discovery conversations before presenting, then match options to what you learn.
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during the client appointment.
• Chase each case through underwriting until it is issued or closed out.
• Keep CRM records clean so your pipeline is always accurate.
• Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change.
