Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an experienced life insurance sales professional to work 100% remotely as a 1099 independent contractor. You’ll manage your own pipeline, conduct discovery conversations, and present tailored life insurance options to interested families.

You’ll quote via carrier tools, submit applications, and drive cases through underwriting to issuance or close. A state license (or plan to obtain one) is required, with CRM knowledge and self-directed work habits essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed or plan to obtain state life insurance license.
• Independent contractor mindset with strong self-discipline.
• Comfort with CRM and online quoting tools; ability to manage a pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Work your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information
• Run discovery conversations before presenting, then match options to what you learn
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during the client appointment
• Chase each case through underwriting until it is issued or closed out
• Keep CRM records clean so your pipeline is always accurate
• Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change
