Job summary

Mims Financial Services, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to start or grow a life insurance sales career as independent contractors. This remote role offers no base salary or hourly pay, with earnings driven by commission, renewals, and bonuses per contract.

Agents work with clients to assess protection needs, present suitable options, and guide them through applications and underwriting. Training, mentorship, and access to carriers support the development of a successful independent

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn insurance products, sales practices, and regulations.
Active license or willingness to obtain one before regulated activities.

Responsibilities

Connect with prospective clients to understand needs and goals.
Explain insurance products and help clients evaluate suitable options.
Conduct client consultations by phone or video.
Assist clients with applications and follow up on underwriting and policy placement.
Maintain accurate client records and manage follow-ups.
Develop and maintain client relationships throughout the process.
Participate in training and mentorship to strengthen product knowledge and sales skills.
Follow insurance laws, carrier guidelines, and client privacy requirements.
