Job summary

Mims Financial Services, LLC is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to start or develop a career in life insurance sales. This remote, commission-only opportunity offers mentorship, licensing support, and access to contracted carriers to help you build your own book of business.

As an independent life insurance agent, you will assess clients' protection needs, present suitable options, and guide applications.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Active life insurance license or willingness to obtain before regulated activities.
Ability to work independently and manage follow-up with clients.
Willingness to learn and develop sales skills in insurance products.

Responsibilities

Connect with prospective clients to understand needs and financial protection goals.
Explain available insurance products and help clients evaluate suitable options.
Conduct client consultations by phone, video, or other communication methods.
Assist clients with insurance applications and follow up on underwriting and policy placement.
Maintain accurate client records and follow up on outstanding applications and service requests.
Develop and maintain professional client relationships throughout the insurance process.
Participate in training and mentorship to strengthen product knowledge and sales skills.
Follow applicable insurance laws, carrier guidelines, ethical standards, and client privacy requirements.
