Job summary

EMC Insurance is seeking a customer service professional to handle inquiries and service requests for life and annuity policies. You’ll process policy changes, illustrations, withdrawals, and loans while performing daily accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy across systems.

The role emphasizes research, problem solving, and collaboration to improve the customer experience and meet SLAs. A background in life products and call-center environments is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in life and annuity or related customer service roles is desired.
• LOMA coursework and associated designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer contacts, inquiries and service requests across systems.
• Process policy changes, illustrations, withdrawals and surrenders as needed.
• Perform daily accounting transactions on existing policies and reconcile lockbox payments.
• Research moderately complex inquiries and provide solutions within SLAs.
• Collaborate with teams to improve the customer experience and document interactions.
