Job summary

The Wood Agency Life seeks motivated independent contractors to sell life insurance on a remote, commission-only basis. You’ll manage your own pipeline, run discovery calls, quote, and shepherd cases through underwriting.

Ideal candidates have a state license (or plan to obtain one), are 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and proficient with CRMs and web-based quoting platforms. You’ll receive mentorship, exclusive leads, and weekly team calls.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license or plan to obtain before first sale.
• 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Comfortable using web-based quoting platforms and a CRM.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information.
• Run discovery conversations before presenting, then match options to what you learn.
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during the client appointment.
• Chase each case through underwriting until it is issued or closed out.
• Keep CRM records clean so your pipeline is always accurate.
• Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change.
