Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking individuals for a 100% remote, 1099 life insurance sales role. No prior insurance experience required; you’ll help families compare options, guide them through licensing, and support them through the underwriting process.

You’ll work with leads who have already requested information, manage your time from home, and receive ongoing training, scripts, and mentorship from Ben and Andrea.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete state licensing before selling; timelines vary by state.
• 18+ and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Own a computer, a phone, and reliable internet.
• No prior insurance experience required, but licensing is mandatory before selling.

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who requested information about life insurance.
• Ask about household goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client.
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation.
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training.
