Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, independent-contractor life insurance salesperson. You will help families understand their options, guide them through licensing, and connect them with suitable products from multiple carriers.

No prior insurance experience is required; training and licensing support are provided. You’ll manage cases through underwriting, document notes in the CRM, and participate in ongoing training with Ben and Andrea, who lead the agency.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn regulated product and licensing process
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Reliable internet, computer and phone
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who requested information about life insurance
• Ask about household goals and concerns before presenting options
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training
