Job summary

The Wood Agency Life seeks a remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will assist families who requested information, guide them from questions to decisions, and help with licensing when needed.

You'll receive exclusive leads, mentorship from Ben and Andrea, and ongoing training while coordinating with multiple carriers to match coverage to families’ needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in call-center or support roles.
• Ability to obtain a state life insurance license.
• Strong listening and clear option explanations.

Responsibilities

• Return calls from people who already asked about life insurance.
• Learn household goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Explain coverage options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM to prevent follow-ups.
• Check in with clients while carriers review their applications.
• Continuously learn products, carriers, and state rules through training.
