Job summary

The Wood Agency Life in the United States is seeking life insurance sales professionals for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor role. You’ll help families who requested information understand their options and guide them through licensing first.

You’ll speak with leads, assess households, present suitable options, complete applications, and stay with each case through underwriting while using a CRM to record notes. Licensing comes first.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete state licensing before selling; timelines vary by state.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• A computer, a phone, and reliable internet.
• Career changer from any field who is willing to learn a regulated product.
• Able to manage your own time at home without daily check-ins.

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who have already requested information about life insurance
• Ask about the household, goals, and concerns before presenting anything
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training
