Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking independent life insurance sales agents who can educate families nationwide about coverage options on a remote, commission-based basis. You’ll meet prospects by phone or video, listen to their needs, explain options in plain language, complete applications, and guide them through underwriting while keeping notes in the CRM.

Licensing required or in progress; 1099 contractor role.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Willing to learn a new regulated field from the ground up.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who've already asked about life insurance.
• Listen to the family's situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Keep learning as products and rules change and training continues.
