Job summary

The Wood Agency Life seeks self-motivated individuals for a 100% remote, 1099 life insurance sales role. No insurance experience is needed; you will guide families who requested information, understand their options, and assist with licensing first.

You’ll stay with each case through underwriting and support clients through the process. Contractors operate independently, earning commissions with no fixed salary.

Qualifications

• Must obtain state life insurance license before selling.
• 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable working remotely as a 1099 contractor with commissions.

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who have requested information about life insurance.
• Ask about household goals and concerns before presenting options.
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client.
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation.
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training.
