The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-directed professionals to sell life insurance from home as independent contractors. This 100% remote, 1099 role focuses on following up on exclusive leads, booking appointments, and guiding families through coverage options.

You will review finances, explain how options differ across carriers, and complete applications with accuracy for underwriting. Licensing in life insurance is required or you plan to pursue it, with mentorship from Ben Wood and access to

Qualifications

• Background in banking, lending, or credit union member services.
• Licensed life insurance agent or plan to become licensed.
• Self-directed, able to plan your day and follow up.
• Able to discuss family finances respectfully and without pressure.
• Authorized to work in the United States, 18+.

Responsabilités

• Contact people who have already requested life insurance information and book appointments.
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing any coverage.
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together.
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because details matter to underwriting.
• Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed.
• Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training.
