Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is hiring a Licensing Project Coordinator to join our Corporate Legal Department. This position is 100% remote and focuses on licensing support services and project coordination for communities and entities managed by Discovery and its affiliates.

You will conduct regulatory research, interpret licensing rules, gather documentation, and file license applications. You’ll maintain licenses, track statuses, and liaise with regulatory agencies, Capital Partners, and

Qualifications

• High school education required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of licensing and permitting experience or long-term care preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on license/permit applications, reporting requirements, inspection requirements, and other regulatory matters.
• Interpret local, state, and federal licensing regulations and communicate changes to appropriate colleagues.
• Gather documentation necessary for accurate license and permit applications with internal and external parties.
• Review documents related to licenses and permits for completeness and accuracy.
• File license and permit applications with governing agencies in a timely manner (initial apps, changes of ownership/management, renewals, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records of license statuses and prepare reports for internal/external stakeholders.
• Coordinate site visits and inspections with regulatory agencies.
• Track changes to community licensed Administrators as required by state regulation.
