Discovery Senior Living seeks a Director of Corporate Communications to lead external and internal communication efforts across the organization. The role focuses on brand management, media relations, and strategic storytelling to support growth in senior living communities.

Candidates will manage social channels, executive messaging, content calendars, and collaborations on videos, press releases, and internal newsletters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, healthcare communications, or related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Strong experience managing corporate social media and digital communications platforms.
• Experience supporting executive and internal communications initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
• Experience supporting crisis communications and reputation management preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare, hospitality, senior living, REIT, or multi-site operating environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute external communications initiatives aligned with the company’s PR strategy.
• Manage corporate social media channels, calendars, publishing, monitoring, and brand presence.
• Identify new digital opportunities to expand audience engagement and brand visibility.
• Conduct peer benchmarking and competitive analysis across senior living industries.
• Monitor engagement analytics and provide leadership with reporting and recommendations.
• Coordinate website content updates and leadership announcements.
• Support branding initiatives and consistency across channels and materials.
• Coordinate production of videos, executive messaging, digital campaigns, photography, and collateral.
• Maintain communications assets, templates, and content libraries.
• Lead day-to-day internal communications across departments and newsletters.
• Support communications tied to acquisitions, transitions, assimilations, launches, and operational initiatives.
• Assist with executive communications, including talking points, scripts, and presentations.
