Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Licensing / Asset Management Analyst to establish the true Microsoft licence position ahead of a renewal, identify unused seats, and prepare a defensible negotiation stance. The role also activates an Adobe chargeback to cost centers, completes an Azure tenancy review, and leaves Finance with a standing optimization discipline for the annual budget cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in software asset/licensing analysis at scale, with Microsoft EA as a core element.
• Built entitlement baselines and reconciled with deployment/assignment.
• Experience supporting a Microsoft renewal or true-up with supporting analysis.
• Fluent in Microsoft 365 and Entra licensing SKUs, understanding tiered features.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to show derivations behind numbers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Microsoft true-up analysis before renewal with usage-based recommendations.
• Build entitlement baseline across Microsoft estate and reconcile with deployment/assignment.
• Scope Microsoft renewal for required capabilities and tiers.
• Establish Adobe consumption and design chargeback to cost centers.
• Complete Azure tenancy/subscription review and rationalization recommendations.
• Hand cost-optimization discipline to Finance for annual budget cycle.
