Job summary

Mega Cloud Lab is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to own the full software asset lifecycle for publisher portfolios, focusing on compliance and renewal efficiency. You will drive end-to-end processes, from entitlement reconciliation to audit readiness, using ServiceNow SAM Pro and related tools.

The role requires experience with complex licensing (Microsoft/Oracle/IBM/SAP), strong Excel/reporting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in Software Asset Management, ITAM, or software licensing.
• Ability to construct and interpret an Effective License Position (ELP).
• Hands-on experience with SAM platforms (ServiceNow, Flexera, or Snow).
• Direct experience owning software renewals or contracts.
• Experience with complex publishers (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP) licensing.
• Proficiency with procurement tooling such as Ariba, Coupa, or ServiceNow.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills with clear stakeholder communication.
• US-person status is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and defend the Effective License Position for publishers.
• Own compliance end-to-end: audit readiness and remediation of over/under-licensing.
• Support audits with source-traceable entitlement evidence.
• Operate license records in SAM tools and maintain accuracy.
• Analyze consumption to drive reclamation and cost optimization.
• Manage renewal calendar and drive renewals ahead of expiry.
• Evaluate proposals, support negotiations, and manage contract terms.
• Report inventory, consumption, compliance, and renewal status.
