Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for Maryland with peak evening and weekend hours. This role is fully remote and requires Maryland licensure (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C). Part-time position with monthly bonus potential and benefits.

You will conduct intakes, provide telehealth therapy with children and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and technology skills.
• Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intakes and develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth.
• Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary team.
• Support families through education and care coordination.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EHR.
• Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Deliver culturally responsive care that meets families where they are.
