Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide remote, youth-focused therapy across Maryland. Requires Maryland license (LCSW-C or LMSW preferred) and ability to work weekday afternoons/evenings with some weekend availability.

You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop client-centered plans, deliver trauma-informed care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license — LCSW-C or LMSW strongly preferred.
• LGPC or LCPC candidates may also be considered.
• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health discipline.
• Experience or strong interest in working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Strong understanding of social work values, advocacy, equity, and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and caregiver-focused therapy through secure telehealth.
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
• Develop strengths-based, client-centered treatment plans.
• Deliver trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, and care team members.
• Support care coordination, resource linkage, and family education.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in our EHR.
• Partner with families to create sustainable change beyond the therapy session.
