Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Maryland-licensed mental health therapist for 100% remote, part-time telehealth care for children, teens, young adults and families. Evening and weekend peak hours align with school and family availability.

Competitive pay per billable hour with monthly bonus potential plus full benefits and growth opportunities. Roles include trauma-informed evaluation and therapy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation in the EHR from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and technology skills.
• Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intakes and develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth; collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Support families through education and care coordination.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Deliver culturally responsive care meeting families where they are.
