Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Maryland-licensed therapist for peak-hours in the evenings and weekends, fully remote. You will provide telehealth care to children, teens, young adults, and families, delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy.

You will conduct intakes, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, while maintaining accurate documentation in our EHR. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling and meaningful impact during high-demand hours.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication, documentation, and technology skills.
• Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical intakes and develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth.
• Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other team members.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Deliver culturally responsive care meeting families where they are.
