Job summary

Holistic Health Counseling, PLLC in Dallas, Texas, seeks a committed Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time role in a remote position with optional in-person sessions at our outpatient office.

You will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy, including teletherapy, while documenting thoroughly and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active and valid LMFT license in the state.
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to gain a deep understanding of clients' mental health issues, subsequently designing effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques that promote client engagement and personal development.
• Work collaboratively with clients to set and monitor therapeutic goals, ensuring progress is tracked and assessed regularly.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to ensure services are convenient and accessible, adapting methodologies to suit clients' needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation to uphold ethical standards and support clinical decision-making.
• Engage in continuous professional development to refine clinical skills and stay updated on trends in mental health treatment.
