Job summary

Green Leaf Psychotherapy Services in Mesquite, Texas, is seeking a licensed mental health therapist for a remote, full-time role. You will provide culturally sensitive assessments and therapy, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support diverse client needs.

The successful candidate will hold an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or psychologist license in Texas, have experience with individual, family, and group therapy, and be committed to ethical practice and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
• Current and valid Texas license (LMFT/LPC/LCSW/ Psychologist)
• Solid foundation in mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and cultural competence
• History of individual and group therapy with culturally responsive approaches
• Crisis intervention skills and ability to stay composed under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse clients
• Familiarity with EHR systems and compliant documentation
• Commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally aware assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers for integrated care
• Provide crisis intervention services for acute situations
• Educate clients and families on mental health conditions and local resources
• Ensure documentation meets ethical and legal standards
• Engage in ongoing education and cultural competency training
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a learning environment
