American Collectors Insurance is seeking a Licensed Customer Service Representative to support the underwriting department. The CSR works closely with underwriters and serves as the first point of contact for existing customers via phone and email.

The role requires an active P&C or Personal Lines license, prior insurance service experience, and strong problem-solving skills. It is 100% remote, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, and compensation of $43,000–$46,000.

Responsibilities

• Delight customers with superior customer service.
• Address client needs and concerns via phone and email.
• Maintain a working understanding of underwriting compliance guidelines.
• Answer back-to-back inbound calls and make outbound calls as needed.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
• Respond to inquiries regarding insurance eligibility, coverages, changes to in-force policies, claim submissions, cancellations/non-renewals, and billing clarifications.
• Service existing customers with endorsements, payments, policy changes, and underwriting authorizations.
• Cancel and non-renew policies according to procedures.
• Complete necessary documentation quickly and efficiently.
• Follow underwriting compliance and service standards while performing changes to in-force policies.
• Remain on the phone 100% of the time.
• Conduct risk analysis and evaluate underwriting quality of applicants.
• Evaluate application factors/details to appropriately match premium to underwriting risk.
• Meet all production goals.
• Complete new business applications for existing customers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
