CorVel Corporation is seeking a Liability Claims Specialist to manage non-complex medical and minor lost-time liability claims under close supervision. This remote position requires an active Home State adjuster license and the ability to operate in the Eastern or Central Time zones.

Responsibilities include receiving claims, confirming coverage, establishing reserves, authorizing payments within limits, and communicating claim status to clients and claimants.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with Auto and General/Premises Liability.
• Active Home State/Designated Home State adjuster license; current state license required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; multi-state license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manages non-complex medical and minor liability claims under close supervision.
• Receives claims, confirms policy coverage and acknowledgment of the claim.
• Determines validity and compensability of the claim.
• Establishes reserves and authorizes payments within reserving authority limits.
• Communicates claim status with the customer, claimant, and client.
• Adheres to client and carrier guidelines and participates in claims reviews.
• Collaborates with team on more complex or problematic claims as necessary.
• Additional duties as assigned.
