CorVel Corporation is seeking a Senior Liability Claims Specialist to manage mid to complex Auto and General Liability claims, including bodily injury and property damage. The role aims to achieve optimal outcomes for CorVel and our clients, handling litigated files with delegated authority and adhering to company best practices.

This is a remote position with occasional travel up to 5%. The successful candidate will investigate, establish reserves, and communicate status to customers,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience.
• Current Adjuster’s License in state of operation; multi-state license preferred.
• 5+ years handling General Liability claims, 2+ years Auto Liability claims.
• Remote position with up to 5% travel.

Aufgaben

• Receive claims, confirm policy coverage and acknowledgment of the claim.
• Determine validity and compensability of the claim.
• Investigate Auto and/or General Liability claims.
• Establish reserves and authorize payments within reserving authority limits.
• Communicate claim status with the customer, claimant, and client.
• Adheres to client and carrier guidelines and participates in claims review as needed.
• Collaborates with team members on more complex or problematic claims as necessary.
• Additional duties as assigned.
