Phaxis is seeking a REMOTE Legal Recruiter to support the firm's legal department from a remote location in New York. The role encompasses the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers, and managing Workday workflows to keep openings moving efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in legal, regulatory, or compliance hiring, and is proactive, organized, and comfortable handling multiple requisitions in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Manage back-end recruiting workflows in Workday for an efficient process.
• Communicate updates to candidates to ensure engagement and experience.
• Support offer preparation, approvals, negotiations, and follow-up to drive acceptance.
• Monitor multiple open requisitions and meet hiring timelines.

REMOTE Legal Recruiter

A leading global insurance firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a REMOTELegal Recruiter to support recruitment efforts for its legal department. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiting professional who can manage the full recruitment lifecycle, partner closely with hiring managers, and handle the recruiting systems and processes that keep hiring moving forward.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting legal, regulatory, and compliance hiring. This role goes beyond administrative coordination and requires someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing recruiting workflows and back-end processes within Workday.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the legal department to support approximately 10 active openings, with additional positions anticipated.

• Source qualified candidates through incoming applications, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other appropriate recruiting channels.

• Manage the full recruiting process, from candidate identification and initial outreach through interview coordination, offer management, and closing.

• Work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand hiring needs, candidate qualifications, and recruitment priorities.

• Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, including coordinating candidate submissions and monitoring agency activity.

• Maintain accurate candidate records, requisition details, and recruiting activity within Workday.

• Manage back-end recruiting processes and workflows within Workday to ensure an efficient and organized hiring process.

• Communicate regularly with candidates to provide updates, maintain engagement, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

• Support offer preparation, approvals, negotiations, and follow-up to help drive candidates through to acceptance.

• Monitor multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting hiring timelines.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional recruiting experience.

• Bachelor degree

• Experience recruiting for legal, regulatory, compliance, and/or attorney positions strongly preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting, including managing requisitions, candidate records, and recruiting workflows.

• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate sourcing tools.

• Ability to manage recruiting agency relationships and coordinate with multiple hiring stakeholders.

• Understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, candidate management, offer processes, and closing.

• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment.
