Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Fully Remote Legal E-Billing Specialist to oversee the complete billing lifecycle—from pre-bill review to electronic submissions and follow-up—ensuring adherence to client billing guidelines.

Qualified candidates have 3–4 years of legal billing experience in law firm or professional services, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Aderant and Microsoft Office in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 3–4 years of legal billing in a law firm or professional services.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles related to billing, invoices, adjustments, appeals and AR processes.
• Experience interpreting client billing agreements and outside counsel guidelines.
• Extensive experience with electronic billing platforms and billing vendors; proficiency with Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Support full billing lifecycle: pre-bill review, invoice preparation, electronic submissions, appeals and follow-up.
• Collaborate with attorneys, finance and clients to ensure timely, accurate billing.
• Ensure compliance with client guidelines and outside counsel guidelines.
• Work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail.
