Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Leave of Absence and Benefits Specialist to manage ~400 leave cases per year from intake through return to work. You will determine eligibility, track certifications, and coordinate with Payroll and carriers to ensure accurate pay and uninterrupted benefits.

You will be the primary contact for employees and managers, maintaining compliant case files and staying current on federal, state, and local leave laws. Remote work option is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3-5 years of leave-of-absence administration experience (FMLA/ADA).
• Working knowledge of federal and state leave laws (including state paid leave).
• Experience coordinating with short- and long-term disability and workers' compensation carriers.
• Strong organizational skills with high-volume caseload experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for employee- and manager-facing case management.
• Experience maintaining compliant case files and tracking intermittent leave.
• HRIS proficiency; Dayforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers leaves of absence under applicable laws (FMLA, ADA, state programs).
• Manages full case lifecycle for most leaves annually (intake to return).
• Coordinates with Payroll for accurate pay and benefits continuation.
• Coordinates with disability and workers' compensation carriers.
• Maintains ongoing employee/manager communication during leave and return-to-work.
• Maintains compliant leave files and tracks intermittent leave usage.
• Updates processes with regulatory changes and escalates complex cases.
