Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Benefits Specialist, Leave of Absence to manage a high-volume caseload of leave cases from intake through return to work. You will determine eligibility, track certifications, and coordinate with Payroll and disability/ workers' compensation carriers to ensure accurate pay and benefits continuity.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and familiarity with FMLA/ADA rules.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of leave-of-absence administration experience.
• Working knowledge of federal and state leave laws including state paid programs.
• Experience coordinating with disability and workers' compensation carriers.
• Proficient in maintaining compliant case files and tracking leave usage.

Responsibilities

• Administers leaves of absence under FMLA, ADA and state programs.
• Manages full leave lifecycle: intake, eligibility, certification tracking, notices.
• Coordinates with Payroll for accurate pay and benefits continuation.
• Collaborates with disability and workers' compensation carriers.
• Maintains communication with employees and managers through leave duration.
• Maintains compliant case files and tracks intermittent leave usage.
• Stays updated on federal/state/local leave law changes.
• Escalates complex cases to Director when needed.
• Prepares regular leave metrics reports for the Director.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
