Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a seasoned Leave of Absence Specialist to oversee FMLA, ADA, PWFA and related state and local leaves, with a 100% remote work arrangement. A Bachelor's degree is required.

You will manage a high-volume caseload, coordinate with a third-party leave administrator, and advise leaders and HR on compliant leave practices across multiple states, balancing risk and employee needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related leave and accommodation experience.
• Experience with FMLA, ADA, PWFA and multi-state leaves.
• Ability to partner with third-party leave vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leave of absence programs including FMLA, ADA, PWFA and other leaves.
• Administer accommodations programs and interactive processes.
• Partner with third-party leave administrator to ensure compliance.
• Provide guidance to leaders and HR on leave administration and return-to-work.
