Job summary

MAA is seeking a Market Leasing Specialist to support leasing operations and enhance the financial performance of assigned apartment communities. You will deliver personalized leasing experiences, escort prospects to multiple locations, and ensure smooth application processing.

The role requires 1-3 years of sales/leasing or customer service experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within the market.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales, leasing, or customer service experience required.
• Driver’s license from state of residence and reliable transportation for travel within the market.
• Bachelor’s degree with leasing experience preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets prospects at the designated community to begin the personalized leasing experience and takes ownership of the prospect journey.
• Drives to multiple communities within the market to lead tours in their personal vehicle.
• Conducts engaging property tours while building rapport and trust with prospects.
• Highlights the prospect’s wants and needs, addresses objections, and guides to complete a lease application.
• Performs post-tour follow-up and coordinates with the engagement teams for lead nurturing.
• Ensures accurate and timely application processing and documentation.
• Develops knowledge of all features of assigned communities and keeps tours up to date with market options.
• Adheres to a varied schedule including weekends and some holidays.
