Job summary

MAA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support leasing operations and drive financial performance at an assigned apartment community. You will engage prospective residents, explain the value of living in a MAA community, and help convert interest into signed leases.

The role requires hospitality or sales experience, proficiency with MS Office, and knowledge of apartment regulations. It offers a path for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents to present the value and experience of living at an MAA community.
• Secure lease agreements and initiate screening for applicants.
• Communicate lease expirations and facilitate lease renewals.
• Assist with property marketing activities and resident events.
