Job summary

MAA is seeking a Leasing Consultant at an apartment community in Kansas. You will engage with prospective residents, highlight the benefits and overall living experience, and help secure lease agreements.

The role includes screening applicants, communicating lease terms, and supporting marketing events, with emphasis on exceptional customer service. The position requires at least one year in sales or leasing, strong MS Office skills, and a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing preferred.
• Familiarity with apartment management laws and regulations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents to showcase community features and value.
• Communicate leasing terms, community experiences, and support services to prospects.
• Initiate screening of prospective residents.
• Inform about lease expirations and facilitate renewals.
• Assist with property marketing activities and resident events.
