Job summary

MAA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to engage with prospective residents, explain the benefits of living in a MAA community, and help secure leases. You will proactively screen applicants and coordinate lease expirations and renewals, while supporting marketing efforts and resident events.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year in sales, hospitality, or leasing, plus proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; a high school diploma is required, with a BA preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Interact with prospective residents and communicate the value of living at a MAA community.
• Secure lease agreements and initiate screening of applicants.
• Explain lease expirations and facilitate lease renewals.
• Assist with property marketing activities and resident events.
