Job summary

Cable One is seeking a detail-oriented lease accounting professional to join our finance team. The role focuses on maintaining ASC 842 lease schedules and supporting reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

You will collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams, perform journal entries and reconciliations, and stay current with FASB and SEC guidance to ensure accurate disclosures across the Cable One family of brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes, stakeholders, systems and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses as requested by leadership.
• Keeps abreast of FASB, SEC and PCAOB standards affecting reporting.
