US Foods, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager - Lease to oversee fixed asset and leasing accounting, lead staff, and drive timely financial reporting across divisions. The role emphasizes internal controls, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position is remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or U.S. territories, with minimal travel and responsibility for lease classifications, journal entries, and SOX alignment. CPA and foodservice experience are a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of finance and/or accounting experience.
• Experience leading projects, process improvements, and/or people preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and coach others.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration across locations.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership to staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
• Oversee month and quarter end close processes for leases and related entries.
• Manage lease entries, reconciliations, and rollforwards (including cash flow).
• Coordinate exports from CoStar and ensure SOX controls are met.
• Oversee fleet funding and lease payment tie outs.
• Support quarterly rollforwards and schedule preparation for management decks.
• Prepare lease footnotes for 10-K disclosures.
• Oversee new lease classifications and loading into CoStar; perform workflow reviews.
• Oversee lease extensions/terminations and maintenance in CoStar.
• Provide SME guidance on processes and systems; drive financial controls and improvements.
• Vehicle minimal travel; supervise Senior/Staff Accountants; collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
