Job summary

US Foods, Inc. seeks an Accounting Manager - Lease to lead the fixed asset and leasing accounting group, overseeing a staff and delivering accurate financials for multiple divisions. The role targets KPI achievement and process improvements, with remote work available nationwide in the U.S.

(excluding Hawaii and territories). The position requires 5+ years in finance/accounting, leadership experience, and strong proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CoStar and Blackline is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of finance and/or accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience leading projects or people.
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
• Oversee month and quarter end close process for leases.
• Manage lease entries, reconciliations in Blackline, and rollforwards.
• Handle exports from CoStar for journal entries and SOX tie-out.
• Oversee monthly fleet funding and lease payment tie-outs.
• Prepare quarterly rollforwards and schedule supports for the Analytical Deck.
• Coordinate annual lease footnote preparation for 10-K disclosure.
• Oversee new lease classifications and loading into CoStar.
• Manage lease extensions, terminations, and maintenance in CoStar.
• Provide SME guidance on accounting processes with Sr Manager Technical Accounting.
• Research and resolve lease accounting issues; perform controls testing.
• Conduct financial analysis to flag potential issues and improve controls.
