Job summary

US Foods is seeking an Accounting Manager - Lease to lead the fixed asset and leasing accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for multiple divisions. You will drive KPIs, implement internal controls, and coordinate process improvements.

The role is remote anywhere in the U.S. (excluding Hawaii and territories) with minimal travel, reporting to the Sr Manager Controllership. Compensation includes an annual incentive plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of finance or accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience leading projects, process improvements, or people.
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong prioritization, organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communications across audiences.
• GAAP and Sox familiarity preferred.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to staff to ensure timely delivery of financial information.
• Oversee month and quarter close for leases and related entries.
• Manage CoStar and related journal entries, and SOX tie-out.
• Coordinate lease classifications, extensions, terminations, and loadings in CoStar.
• Oversee lease-related analyses and annual footnote preparation.
• Provide research and resolution of lease accounting issues.
• Perform financial analysis to identify potential issues.
