Job summary

NeighborWorks America is hiring for a specialized instructional design role focused on developing accessible, high-quality learning experiences across modalities. You will partner with the Learning Design team to review, revise, and create engaging courses, including translations and multimedia elements, in a remote-capable environment.

The role emphasizes end-to-end instructional design, adult learning principles, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve the learning portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Technology or related areas or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in education, training, learning design or related areas.
• Strong instructional design and adult learning expertise.
• Experience applying end-to-end instructional design methodologies.
• Learner-centered design principles and application to UX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain online learning content using Articulate Rise and Storyline.
• Support multiple learning modalities including VILT and ILT, and self-guided formats.
• Conduct accessibility reviews ensuring ADA/WCAG compliance.
• Assist in Thinkific course setup, testing and audits.
• Translate and localize content for multilingual delivery.
• Contribute to content standardization and portfolio-wide improvements.
