Job summary

Jobgether, in partnership with a leading university, is seeking a Learning Designer (Contract) based in the United States to transform academic content into engaging online courses.

You will collaborate with faculty and learning design teams to shape course content, design outcomes, build activities and assessments, and guide production from storyboard to launch, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and quality.

Qualifications

• Six years of instructional design or learning design experience in online higher education.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end online course design and development.
• Experience collaborating with faculty and senior academic stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of backward design, learning outcomes, and assessment.
• Familiarity with Quality Matters, OSCQR, or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Translate program goals into detailed course designs with Learning Architects.
• Lead faculty sessions to define outcomes, structure content, and develop activities and assessments.
• Create storyboards for videos and multimedia resources; collaborate with media teams.
• Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility and align with QM standards.
• Manage multiple courses with 12–16 week build cycles and track progress.
