Job summary

Western Growers Health is seeking an Learning and Development Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate training across the organization. You will partner with SMEs to create effective programs for Operations staff and support the integration with Pinnacle Claims Management (PCMI).

The role emphasizes instructional design, eLearning, and modern learning tools. You will facilitate sessions, maintain LMS processes, and monitor program performance using metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant training certification.
• 2–3 years of experience designing learning solutions (including eLearning).
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and ISD model.
• Proven instructional design, curriculum development, and instructional technology experience.
• Able to plan, develop, and facilitate engaging training programs with effective course management.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end learning solutions including curricula, courses, facilitator guides, and materials.
• Facilitate training using varied methods (instructor-led, virtual, blended, eLearning).
• Coordinate training sessions in an LMS and prepare materials.
• Evaluate training effectiveness with metrics and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay current on learning technologies and partner with leaders to reinforce learning.
