Job summary

Noodle is the leading strategy, services, and technology partner for higher education, collaborating with institutions to design and deliver online courses that engage students and improve outcomes.

The candidate will own course design from storyboard to launch, working with faculty and the Learning Architect to shape program goals into structured modules, activities, and assessments, while ensuring schedules are kept and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of instructional or learning design experience in higher education online programs.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple courses and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Learning Architect to translate program goals into detailed course designs.
• Lead working sessions with faculty to define learning outcomes, sequence content, and develop activities and assessments.
• Write and edit course content, instructions, rubrics, and discussion prompts in a student-facing voice.

• Strong LMS experience, with Canvas preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing skills and comfort managing several courses and deadlines.
