Job summary

SouthState Bank Corporation in Florida seeks a Training Delivery & Development professional to build and deliver programs that strengthen credit expertise across the organization.

You will coach employees, use diverse learning methods, and leverage media/technology to drive forward-thinking training initiatives. The role collaborates with loan teams and workgroups to improve knowledge and performance, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years generating sales as a commercial lender or team leader and/or servicing loans, products, or services as a credit officer or portfolio manager.
• Minimum of four (4) years of deal team experience; SouthState culture or similar in action.
• Bachelor and/or Associate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
• Training Delivery experience preferred.
• Proficient with lending systems (nCino) preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs to build and strengthen credit expertise.
• Foster an interactive learning environment with a variety of effective learning methods.
• Leverage new ideas, creative approaches, and media/technology for forward-thinking learning.
• Serve as a coach and mentor to employees for career and professional development.
• Consult with bank workgroups to evaluate areas of credit strengths and opportunities.
• Provide recommendations and solutions for continuous improvement.
• Partner with bank workgroups to build relationships and expand knowledge/resources.
• Research industry trends and leverage best practices related to learning & development.
• Analyze credit results and course data to identify trends for improved learning and effectiveness.
