Job summary

Alignerr Corp. seeks a mathematician with strong formal verification experience to translate advanced proofs into Lean 4 formalizations for AI research projects.

You will work remotely on a flexible hourly contract, 10–40 hours per week, collaborating with AI researchers to push the boundaries of automated proof systems while delivering clear, machine-verifiable results. Applicants should hold a master's degree or higher in math or related field, and be proficient with Lean 3/4 or comparable

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Logic, or related field.
• Deep experience in rigorous proof construction.
• Strong background in formal verification methods.

Responsibilities

• Translate informal proofs into Lean 4 formalizations.
• Analyze proofs across algebra, analysis, topology, logic, and discrete math.
• Create formalizations testing current proof assistants' limits.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to design verification pipelines.
• Develop reproducible Lean proof scripts.
• Provide guidance on proof decomposition and lemma selection.
• Formalize classical results and compare with textbook arguments.
