Leidos seeks a Lead Transmission Line Engineer who will manage a team on electric transmission projects from 34.5 kV to 500 kV. You will lead design, analytics, and coordination across planning, environmental, permitting, and construction phases, directing staff and proposals to grow the book of work.

The role emphasizes client relations, performance management, and technical leadership, with 100% remote work within the U.S. and travel as needed.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; Civil preferred.
• 8+ years of utility transmission design experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a Master's.
• Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• Strong communication to serve as primary client contact; travel may be required.
• Mentor staff and drive client relations, project metrics, and growth.

Mansioni

• Direct multiple design teams on various transmission projects for clients.
• Develop and coach engineers, oversee timesheets and performance reviews.
• Lead proposal responses, define scope of work, and pursue new business.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget with PMO support.
• Ensure quality control and foster long-term client relationships.
