Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Infrastructure Analyst for a fully remote position. You will analyze performance and capacity of fixed-line, mobile, and data networks, forecast future requirements, and translate complex data into actionable insights.

Remote collaboration with national and international teams is essential. The role requires a strong engineering/analytics background, 6+ years in telecom infrastructure, and proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electrical, Computer), Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 6 years of experience in telecommunications infrastructure analysis, planning, or operations.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel advanced functions).
• Strong understanding of telecom technologies (fibre optics, mobile networks, data centers, cloud).
• Experience with network simulation and modeling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance, capacity, and reliability of telecom infrastructure across fixed-line, mobile, and data networks.
• Develop capacity planning models to forecast future network requirements and bottlenecks.
• Evaluate ROI and cost-effectiveness of proposed upgrades.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with network engineering, operations, and finance teams to align strategies.
