Job summary

GE Aerospace is hiring for a Supplier Quality Engineer role in the United States. The position covers supplier quality assurance and development, including audits, action plans, and performance monitoring to drive suppliers toward industry standards.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years in quality or supplier quality, with up to 50% travel in the first year. A performance bonus plan is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience

Responsibilities

• Includes Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development, with supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring and aiding assigned suppliers toward industrial standards of excellence.
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of quality and/or castings to execute policy and has basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements and communicates to bring team to consensus.
• Jobs at this level function with autonomy but under defined policies or review of end results.
• Uses judgment to propose different solutions to address day-to-day problems.
• Prioritizes information for data analysis and uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
