GE Aerospace seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer in the United States to oversee supplier quality assurance and development, manage qualifications, audits, action plans, and performance monitoring. You will integrate quality plans with engineering and manufacturing teams, applying best practices to achieve industry-leading excellence.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and analytic skills; you will mentor peers, lead small projects, and prioritize data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience
• Travel rate of 50% for first 6 months - 1 year in role. Travel from 25% to 50% thereafter.

Responsabilités

• Oversee supplier quality assurance and development, including qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting assigned suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of quality and/or castings to execute policy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements, explain information, and develop skills to bring team members to consensus.
