Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova is seeking an Aero Lead Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to drive supplier quality plans for aero gas turbine components and manage supplier performance through detailed scorecards across global suppliers.

You will oversee supplier approvals, qualification for serial production, audits, deviation management, and root cause analysis to ensure CTQ and regulatory compliance in supplier processes. Collaboration with Sourcing, Engineering, and Manufacturing is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant technical field.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and specifications.
• Experience with machining, heat treat and welding.
• Auditing experience (quality system, process, or product).
• Ability to manage and develop vendors/suppliers.
• Experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing/Process Quality.
• Excellent technical, oral, and written communication.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.

Aufgaben

• Partner with Sourcing and Engineering to qualify, approve, and develop suppliers.
• Define and execute product and process qualifications.
• Review and approve MPP, PQP, control plans, and inspection plans.
• Ensure CTQ, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements are translated into supplier process controls.
• Validate first article inspection (FAI) and ongoing product verification; monitor process capability.
• Manage and approve Supplier Deviation Requests (SDRs) and drive disposition of nonconformances.
• Lead containment, rework and recovery actions at supplier facilities and sites.
• Lead RCA and FMEA with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
• Conduct supplier audits and verify compliance with GE Vernova QMS.
